NOTE: We are approximately 35-45 minutes from New Orleans. Cab and uber services are not available in our area. If you book the self-drive option you will not receive hotel pickup. If you book the option with pickup, pickups will begin 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to tour time.

Agadir Small Desert Day Trip
Departure from the hotel at 8:30 a.m. (Taghazout hotels at 8:00 a.m.), the tour will be towards the south direction, where you will have your tour Agadir Small Desert Day Trip.
You will first visit the pottery site to discover a very old Moroccan art that comes from the Andalusian era. Next you have a stop on the south coast where the fishermen live in their caves on Sidi Rabat beach, where you will have the opportunity to visit the fishermen’s caves and perhaps find some shells on the secluded beach.
For a short time, you will travel on a Rally road on sand dunes and sandy terrain, along the Atlantic Ocean, then you will have a quick stop at the Massa River where you can spot -if you are lucky- some migratory birds, such as pink flamingo and hermit ibis or bald ibis.

Your adventure will start with pickup from your hotel in Agadir. Head to Sidi R'bat, 1 hour and 20 minutes south of Agadir, to discover unpopulated beaches and sandbanks. Stop at the fisherman's village on the wild beach of Sidi R'bat, where you will have a chance to see the fishermen's caves, hewn in the cliffs.
Then, drive on a sandy track while looking out onto the Atlantic Ocean. You will then have a quick stop at the Oued Massa, a 120 km long coastal river by the Souss-Massa Nationalpark.
Here, if you are lucky, you will spot migrating birds, mainly the Northern bald ibis. You will also catch a quick glimpse of the beautiful Dam Youssef bin Tachfine.
After, walk around the old walled medina town and browse. Then drive towards the Atlas mountains to enjoy a traditional lunch (tajine, couscous, and seasonal fruits), with the possibility of vegetarian food as well, in a local Berber's house.
After lunch, you can roam freely in the small Sahara dunes to take photos.

Long time untouched because of the endangered bird Northern Bald Ibis nesting there the Sanddunes in Timalin are a very special place to visit in Morocco. Where the massive Sand Dunes meet the cliff surfers and explorers meet in this still remote place to Sandboard the Dunes and sit together to watch the beautiful sunset and take some great shots. Its one of my favorite places in Morocco, and this is where I will take you. Being from close by Timlalin I know the area like my backhand and will guide you to the most beautiful spots let you hop on a Board and help you to surf the Sand as well as give you some time for nice pictures. As an extra on the way we usually stop in the local fisher village Aghroud, where you can take a quick stroll through the colorful houses. Enjoy a full Moroccan afternoon in remote nature and a magical place!
