Trekking in small groups! Ascent with off-road vehicles along the panoramic path on the northern side of the volcano, till a height of 2825 mt. From this point we start the ascent on foot on a path surrounded by volcanic scoria and bombs. After doing 470mt positive level difference, we will reach the edge of the Central Crater (main crater of the volcano), at an altitude of 3300 mt. There we will stop to admire the uniqueness and the processes of the volcanic environment. the descent is planned on foot from 3300 to 1800 meters for about 7 kilometers, passing through large gullies full of soft volcanic sand to the starting point of the excursion. The climbing course will be organized in small group of climbers, offering individual support and coaching. Course is taking place in Soča valley, on one of the climbing areas in beautiful surroundings of Bovec. Our instructor will present you all the equipment, basic climbing steps and safety actions for climbing in pairs. Then we will take off on a short hike before climbing some of the tallest trees in the world. Around 200-300 feet high into the canopy of rare giant old-growth trees and experience an adventure that seems to take you out of this world. During the intro tree climb you will learn the basic skills of recreational tree climbing and rappelling, as you move your way high into the upper canopy with gorgeous views of ancient forest and wildlife. Shivapuri-Baghdwar trek is the best short, easy and memorable trek from Kathmandu that is as equally scenic and rewarding as any other treks in the Himalayan foothills. This starting point for this trek is Budanilkhanta, the base of Shivapri Hill. You will be picked from Hotel and drive till the national park entrance. The trail climbs past Nagi monastery through the forest to Baghdwar with shrines and hermitages.
