Doi Inthanon National Park with Nature Trail Trekking 1-Day Tour
On this tour, you can cool off on Thailand's highest peak while taking in the beautiful scenic Doi Inthanon National Park. Nighttime temperatures on the peak can be as low as -8 degrees centigrade. In the cold/dry season, nighttime frosts are common. Daytime temperatures can be surprisingly cold so do not forget a long sleeve jumper. On the way up we will walk on the famous nature trail, Kew Mae Pan (November – May) or Pha Dok Siew (June – October) then visit Wachirithan Waterfalls, The King and Queen Chedi's, (the best views across the park are found here), and then on to the peak of Doi Inthanon the highest mountain in Thailand. Near the top, we will take the Angkha nature walk where you can walk among the unique flora and forests that grow at this altitude. There are both Karen and Hmong villages in the bounds of Doi Inthanon and we will see those at the local market on the way down the mountain before making our way back to Chiang Mai.

Start your morning by visiting local market; our instructors will introduce the basic ingredients used in Thai cuisine and how to select them. In our organic farm, you will learn more about Thai herbs and vegetables. Not only picking up fresh ingredients, but also experience how to harvest mushrooms, collect eggs and enjoy cooking in Thai-style pavilions with our small class size (Max. 10-12 persons) . . Our cooking course offers famous Thai dishes such as Tom Yam (Hot and Sour Soup), Kang Kew Waan (Green Curry), Pad Thai (Stir Fried Rice Noodles), etc. Select one refreshment and one dish from our fives categories; appetizer, stir fry, soup, curry, and dessert.
