Starting early in the morning from Labuan Bajo, we'll pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the jetty. Our adventure begins with a boat ride to Padar Island, where you'll experience breathtaking landscapes. Next, we'll head to Komodo Island to witness the world's largest lizard, the Komodo dragon. Peperpot Bicycle Tour


From the bicycle rental company, you cycle to the Plattebrug where you will board a wooden tent boat to Meerzorg. From Meerzorg you will cycle via the Oost – West verbinding to Peperpot. This plantation was laid out by the Jansen family in the early 19th century as a coffee and cocoa plantation. There are two plantation homes on the factory complex, a coffee shed and a coffee and cacao factory. The production continued until 1996. There is also a kampong (settlement) with workers' houses inhabited by Javanese people, although people have found work elsewhere. You can still recognize the coffee and cacao trees, which are nowadays covered with bromeliads, orchids and climbing plants and the animals have reclaimed the area. Peperpot is popular for bird lovers, but if you are lucky, you can also encounter squirrel monkeys, capuchin monkeys and sapakaras (giant lizards) on one of the paths that have been laid right through the plantation.
