The Painted Hall at the Old Royal Naval College is one of Europe’s finest interiors and located in the heart of Greenwich's UNESCO World Heritage Site. Luke Jerram’s astonishing installation Helios in the Painted Hall until 25th March 2025. Included is a Painted Hall audio guide (in English, French, Spanish, Italian, Mandarin, German, and Japanese + British Sign Language) or take a guided Painted Hall talks which run every 30 minutes from 11am – 4pm. The site has a fascinating 600 years of history, including being the birthplace of Henry VIII, but is also Britain’s no.1 heritage film location, featuring in hits from Bridgerton to Bond. Tickets also include an optional guided tour of the Buildings and grounds which leaves the visitor centre hourly from 11am – 3pm. Our 60 minute painting workshops offer an enjoyable and relaxing way to spend some time on your own, with your children, or in a group. When you arrive we will give you a live demonstration on how we Cast (make) a metal model. Now the fun begins as you can now watch us make the model of your chooseing. You can choose the mould you want us to cast for you (e.g. toy soldier, cavalry, ballerina, fairy, Castle & Fairy doors etc). Once your model is casted you then visit our creative corner, choose your colours and just start painting your model.  Once you have finished painting, you take your masterpiece home.   Suitable for adults and children over 7 years of age.

The secluded village of Zalipie is home to a charming tradition.  Over a century ago the women of the village began to paint their houses: however, it was not the single, uniform color one might expect from a traditional and conservative society.

Painting puppets is very fun. You may paint in a variety of attractive colors, even out of the original colors in the Tembi Rumah Budaya. Let us learn one of Javanese cultures, as well having fun with.
