You will enjoy 60 minutes at a comfortable studio with your professional dance instructor at the Tango capital of the world. Instead of booking a way too expensive commercial show, in this tour you'll get to know the real Tango underground world of Buenos Aires! After an (optional) Tango class you will get to know an authentic "Milonga" (=a place where locals dance Tango). We will be "off the beaten track" and I will tell you everything about how to dance Tango, the social codes in the Milongas and how Tango has changed over time (nowadays there is even Queer Tango, electro Tango etc). Your guide is Valerie, an expat from Europe who is an internationally known Tango teacher and Milonga organiser. In the BA Tango scene everybody knows her and she loves to build bridges between travelers and her local Milonguero friends. She is very passionate about Tango and happy to answer all your questions!

For us, dancing tango is not the product that everybody sales. For us, is learn to comunicate with your body, and feel your partner. The idea of the experience is that after one houre you can dance, in a simple way, but with confidence. You will learn not only how to dance, but also our culture.

With us, you will feel like a local tango. We do not want you to live the tourist tango, but you can enjoy a real milonga night. You will be accompanied by two tango dancers who have been dancing in milongas for 20 years. You will know the codes, movements and the history of tango. The activity is semi private, we handle small groups so they feel accompanied and can learn and ask everything they want!
