All the costumes worn by the performers are authentic museum pieces, handmade in those villages more than a century ago. The theatre's wardrobe contains 2,000 such historical costumes from all over Greece, complete with jewelry and accessories. Extensive field studies by a team of researchers under the direction of professor Alkis Raftis supports the fidelity of performances to the original.

The new show by Vera Dragone takes its title from a famous piece by Lelio Luttazzi: a show with 9 artists on stage that proposes the setting and the sounds of the great Italian television variety of the 60s, one above all: Milleluci. Under the guidance of Ireland’s largest group dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Irish traditional music, this show makes the most of Irish music, dance and storytelling to present a moving account of how the Great Famine had a devastating effect on the West of Ireland. The second half of the show requires some audience participation and you will be invited to learn and join in Irish folk dances. If you can play a tune or sing a song, in the spirit of a true Seisún, you will be welcome to take the floor.
