Early morning we will be taken for a boat ride on the Ganges. It is a mystical and spiritual experience as you watch people offering water to the Sun God and devotees taking a holy dip in the Ganges. We will visit all the famous Ghats of Varanasi via boat and return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, see the “Temple Tour” most religious Kashi Vishwanath temple, the Bharat Mata temple, Sankat Mochan (Hanuman temple), Manas Mandir, and BHU. At noon we will be taken for an excursion to Sarnath. Sarnath is the place where Buddha delivered his first sermon to his disciples. The attractions at Sarnath are the Buddha temples, the Dhamekha stupa, the Chaukhandi stupa, and the archaeological museum, return to the hotel. Our planned itinerary allows us to sleep overnight in Maya Bay. We now have access to the beach in Maya Bay after being closed for 2 years. As we arrive in the bay in the afternoon you will most likely be the last people on the beach for that day. To see the bay without any boats moored and not a single person or footprint in the sand is truly a sight to behold If the weather conditions do not suit mooring in Maya Bay we have several other options that are just as beautiful including Loh Moo Dee Beach, Plieh bay, and Loh Sama bay or Monkey Beach.
