Itinerary
Day 1: Agadir – Ouarzazate – Zagora
Stop At: Ouarzazate 45000, Morocco
Ouarzazate is an important holiday destination in Morocco, as a base for excursions across the Draa Valley and into the desert. The fortified village (ksar) of Ait Benhaddou west of the city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Ouarzazate area is a noted film-making location, with Morocco’s biggest studios inviting many international companies to work here. Films such as Lawrence of Arabia (1962), The Living Daylights (1987), The Last Temptation of Christ (1988), The Mummy (1999), Gladiator (2000), Kingdom of Heaven (2005), Kundun (1997), Legionnaire (1998), Hanna (2011), and Salmon Fishing in the Yemen (2011) were shot here, as was part of the TV series Game of Thrones.

Stop At: Zagora, Zagora, Souss-Massa
zagora is your best chance to discover Morocco’s Sahara desert at a glance. This is the best overnight desert trip from Agadir which will introduce you to the Saharan landscapes of Draa Valley . At the end of the day, Ride your camel while watching a spectacular sunset. At night, join the Berber nomads playing Tam-Tam drums around the camp fire.

Day 2: Zagora – Ait Ben Haddou – Taroudant – Agadir
Stop At: Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou, Souss-Massa
Most citizens attracted by the tourist trade live in more modern dwellings in a village on the other side of the river, although there are four families still living in the ancient village. Inside the walls of the ksar are half a dozen kasbahs, or merchants’ houses. Ksar Aït Benhaddou is a great example of Moroccan earthen clay architecture and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987

Stop At: Taroudant, Taroudant, Souss-Massa
After a quick visit to Taroudant’s small traditional souk and a short climb to the fortified ramparts, that reveals the true beauty of the surrounding countryside,
we will drive to the Oasis and the Kasbah (fortress) of Tiout, where a very tasty lunch is waiting you in berber house .
After lunch break, it will be the right time to stroll through the palm trees on a donkey ride and around the Kasbah where the movie of Ali Baba and 40 thieves was filmed in the 50s.
The return to the hotel is scheduled around 7 o’clock.
