Itinerary

Day 1: Agadir / Zagora Tour 2 days 1 night in nomadic tents

Stop At: Plage d’Agadir, Agadir 80000 Morocco
Departure from Agadir at 07:00 in the morning heading to the plain of Souss then to the small towns of the Anti Atlas: Taliouine, Taznakht, and Agdz in the large Oasis, lunch on site, or just a mint tea break (optional); continue the way along the Draa Valley-the largest palm grove of Morocco arriving at Zagora, a small desert town famous for its signboard “52 days to Timbuktu” on camel back. From there, take the road further south to Tamegroute; (ancestral village known for making green pottery), visit the pottery factory and the craft exhibition, visit the underground Kasbah and the Koranic library just before heading on camel back to the bivouacs in the sand dunes where you’ll admire the stunning sunset. Dinner in the open giving you the feeling of “a thousand and one night” sitting around the campfire at center of the desert and accompanied by local traditional music; a magnificent ambiance to take your breath away.

Day 2: 2- Second day: Bivouac-Zagora- Agadir

Pass By: mhamid desert camp, R7Q8+967, Mhamid, Morocco
Get up early in the morning to enjoy the amazing sunrise amid the sand dunes; and just after breakfast, leave the bivouac for Zagora after which to extend your drive along the valley of thousand palm trees, once arrived in Agdez the small village at the foot of the Anti Atlas, climb to the Taznaght pass (the village of the Berber carpets), lunch on site (optional), after lunch, continue the trip to admire the beautiful view of the Grand Canyon of the Atlas and the superb landscapes, a wonderful experience after which head down to the plain of Souss to return to Agadir.
