Itinerary

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat

Pass By: Casablanca, Casablanca, Casablanca-Settat
Welcome to Casablanca, depending on your arrival time meet our professional driver at the airport. Then start your Morocco Imperial Cities Tour via Sahara Desert, departing to Rabat. First in Casablanca we will see Hassan II mosque, the world’s third-considerable mosque and the flamboyant building that reflects the modern Moroccan architecture exquisite zellij and gilded cedar ceilings, we will also see the lovely coastal Cornish seaside. Then we continue our tour to Rabat, the capital politics of Morocco. Here you will visit the Mausoleum of Mohammed V; this fascinating Mausoleum built on the traditional style carved plaster, patterned zellij and wooden cedar ceiling. Sightseeing of Rabat will also include the adjacent Hassan Tower an incredible wonder reveals the medieval Moorish style overlooking the sea. You’ll also have a visit to Oudaya Kasbah

Day 2: Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fez

Pass By: Rabat, Rabat, Rabat-Sale-Kenitra
After breakfast in your riad, we will leave Rabat and travel to Fes via Meknes and Volubilis. So upon arrival to Meknes which is another notable imperial city well-known as the Ismaili capital, the tour begins with exploring the monumental Bab El Mansour gate on the vast Lahdim square. Then a stop needed at Moulay Ismaïl museum and Sahrij Souani. Then after lunch depart to Volubilis (the Roman city), here you’ll have a short stroll in the wonderfully preserved mosaics columns and Roman path. As traveling through the countryside we will pass by Moulay Idriss’s Holy City for an opportunity to take pictures. Finally you’ll get to Fez where you will spend the night in a traditional riad coupled with dinner.

Day 3: Explore Fez Medina

Pass By: Fes, Fes, Fes-Meknes
Today is dedicated to exploring the old world of Fes, a capturing UNESCO world heritage site and the first one to build in Morocco. Fes ancient Medina remains the city’s largest draw – a stretching out area of snaking alleyways, jumbled souks dotted palaces, Madrassas and mosques. After breakfast in your riad you’ll start exploring this dramatic ancient city. Roam with your local guide deep inside the narrow alleyways of the Medina and learn about the histories of its highlights including Al Quaraouiyine University (oldest one in the world), Attarine and Batha Museums, Bou Inania Medersa (Islamic school), Nejjarine Fountain, visit tanneries, Mulay -Idriss mausoleum and Jewish quarter, local souks and more… Then Take your lunch on the Fassi way the most spacial and mouth-watering cuisine in Morocco. Finish your day with a drop off to your riad.

Day 4: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

Pass By: Ifrane, Ifrane, Fes-Meknes
Today wake up early morning and take your breakfast then depart from Fes to Merzouga. Travelling through the Middle Atlas Mountains, your first stop will be at Ifrane Morocco’s winter ski resort with its exceptional French building design. We visit the Cedar Forests in Azrou for an opportunity to see the monkeys in their natural habitat. Most of the day will be through the picturesque springs, forests, Berber village. Afterwards lunch will be at Midelt a Berber town renowned for rocks and fossils, then we carry on our Morocco Imperial Cities Tour via Sahara Desert, to Merzouga passing by a massive palm trees oasis (Ziz Valley), we will stop to admire the panoramic views. From there we across Erfoud and Rissani (the foundation of Alaouite dynasty. It’s Morocco’s current ruling family)and arrive in Merzouga

Day 5: Merzouga – Khamlia – Nomad family – Desert Adventure – Camel Trekking in Erg Chebbi Dunes

Pass By: Merzouga Desert, Merzouga Morocco
Today is dedicated to exploring the local life in the Sahara desert and the nearby nomad towns. After breakfast in the hotel broad your air conditioned vehicle and start discovering the Berber villages. Hence including khamlia village whose people are originated from Mali and Sudan, you will have the chance to visit them in their houses and learn about how the nomadic life looks like. Then we continue to Rissani an ancient town where caravans meet and it has a souk (market) live only on Thursdays and Sundays. From there we depart to Erfoud and explore the fossils there and we can take our lunch. In the afternoon we go back to Merzouga hotel relax a little bit, then we meet our camel caravan and start out the desert adventure so as not to miss the sunset.

Venture deep in the far reaches dunes of Erg Chebbi and enjoy the last few hours before it gets dark, you will climb the dunes and experience the sunset. Then trek back to the desert to enjoy your dinner and pass the night. After dinner watch the berbers playing their folks and experience your first night under the stars.

Day 6: Merzouga – Tinghir – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate

After an early wake-up to watch the sunrise, we take a camel ride. Once again enjoying the beautiful scene to Merzouga. After an exhilarating breakfast and shower, we will leave for Tinghir a town of lush oasis that covers 30 miles of palm trees. Then we continue our Morocco Imperial Cities Tour via Sahara Desert, to the Todra Gorges our way through the stunning landscapes and Berber villages. Arriving at Todra gorges we will stop for lunch and have a short hike in this stunning deep canyon. From there we’ll depart to Ouarzazate through the road of Thousands Kasbahs which rise like turreted sand castles along the old caravan trading route. In fact this area is a popular location for Hollywood movies like, Jewel of the Nile and The Last Temptation of Christ…

Before arriving to Ouarzazate we will pass by the most romantic destination nestled along the Rose Valley and Dades valley where we will stop to glimpse the dramatic escarpment. We reach Ouarzazate in afternoon for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Tizi n Tichka pass – Marrakech

Day 8: Marrakech Guided Tour

After taking your breakfast in the riad meet your driver and start exploring the “Pearl of the South”. Our Guided tour covers the Bahia Palace (19th century), Koutoubia Mosque (reaching 230 feet in height), Saadian Tombs and its stark towers. Visit the Majorelle Gardens which are designed by the French Jacque Majorelle. Then take your escorted tour to the old Medina and discover the numerous artisanal handicrafts from leather, copper, wood and the colorful souks… After lunch finish your Morocco Imperial Cities Tour at Jamma El Fnaa square the greatest place for spectacle shows and outdoor entertainments. Day 9: Day Trip From Marrakech To Essaouira

After breakfast depart from Marrakech to the coastal city of Essaouira, you’ll be there after 3 hours maximum then start exploring the city.
