Day 1: Casablanca Arrival

After breakfast in you hotel, you will visit the impressive Mosque of Hassan II, built in 1993 by a team of over 6000 craftsmen. Located on the shores of the city it is an imposing edifice and one of the few mosques in Morocco that foreigners are allowed to enter.

The Mohamed V Mausoleum is another attraction in Rabat that is worth the visit. It is not only a perfectly preserved example of the Alaouite dynasty’s architectural style, but it is the final resting place of three significant members of the royal family. Here visitors and locals are able to pay their respect to these leaders and marvel at the detailed and beautifully designed mausoleum. It is both a tomb and a mosque and the Mohamed V Mausoleum is one of the few holy places that are open to the public.

The Kasbah des Oudaias is a picturesque place with houses and streets that are of a different standard to the rest of the city. All the houses are white and look like they have just been painted with bright blue parapets. The Kasbah des Oudaias provides you with the most amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean and of Sale, Rabat’s neighboring city. This part of city is quiet and there are relatively few people walking around the maze of streets. This makes exploring the northern parts of the city a lot more fun.
Located in the vicinity of Kasbah des Oudaia is the oldest mosque in the capital, namely the Kasbah Mosque. The mosque was built in the mid-eleventh century and the beautiful gateway (Bab Oudaia) that leads you to the Kasbah was built in the twelfth century. The mosque was enlarged and renovated later in the eighteenth century.

Day 3: Rabat – Asilah – Chefchaouen

Asilah is known for its clean streets, the purity of its lines and its almost intact, fifteenth-century walls that border the sea. It’s also known for the constant presence of artists and their work. The medina of Asilah embraces art and is embraced by the sea.
The usual way of entering the medina is via the archway of the Bab Kasbah, set into very well-preserved Portuguese walls dating from the fifteenth century.
Along the main street, on our right, is the Center Hassan II des Rencontres Internationales. It takes on a special significance for the town’s most important festival, the International Festival of Culture during which time the walls of the old town are covered with art. On the same side of the street is the Great Mosque with its octagonal minaret, and further on, you come to the Place Ibn Khaldoun, the site of the majestic Portuguese tower, Borj Al Kamra.
From there, the best option is to let yourself be carried away, walking through the bazaars and art galleries before reaching the incomparable Krikiya lookout tower near the mausoleum of Sidi Ahmed al Mansour. It’s one of the most iconic places in Asilah. You’ll marvel at the amazing sunsets to be seen from there.

After breakfast in your hotel you will have all the day to explore the blue city on your own, Beautifully perched under the prime peaks of the Rif, Chefchaouen is one of the most beautiful villages in Morocco, an artsy mountain village, washed-out blue that feels like its own world.
While tourism has definitely taken hold of it, the balance between ease and authenticity is right. Chefchaouen is a small mountain town in northeastern Morocco with a magnificent setting, with a population of 40,000 inhabitants, built at 600 m altitude at the foot of the Kelaa and Meggou mountains, which form the Jebel Chaouen, in the chain Of the Rif mountains.
It is full of charm and authenticity and away from the major tourist destinations. The old Medina is a delighted with Moroccan and Andalusian influence with red tile roofs, bright blue buildings and alleys that converges on the busy Plaza Uta el-Hammam and its restored Kasbah.

After breakfast in your hotel we will start driving to midelt our first stop will be in Ifran, The pure air in Ifrane depends on a delicate balance. To preserve it, the city is enclosed in a natural park. You will love meandering through these superb settings. The many hiking trails are among the most beautiful in the country. A rich variety of wildlife will keep you company on your treks. Around the bend on a trail, a macaque may entertain you with his antics, while a proud, fearful Atlas deer watches you from a safer distance.
Ifrane is also full of history. The city itself is a spectacle that you can tour in a small train. Hop aboard and move through some of the cleanest streets in the world to discover the region’s traditional handiwork: carpet weavers at their looms, basket makers weaving rattan and pottery shops displaying terra cotta souvenirs.
Ifrane, a miniature Switzerland, offers all this, in addition to boasting a luxury hotel smack in the middle of Morocco. It will definitely clear your head!

Day 8: Midelt – Merzouga desert (overnight in the desert camp)

After breakfast we will drive more south, we will cross the pass of Tizi N Talghamt to reach Errachidia while admiring the views of Ziz gorges. Later you will have a stop for a panoramic view of Ziz valley. The drive continues to Erg Chebbi Dunes passing by Aoufous and Erfoud (the last is famous with fossils and dates) where you may want to visit a local fossil craft workshop. After that you will continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, these dunes are called also Merzouga In the afternoon get ready for a camel trek for an hour and half to enjoy the sunset. While on the back of your dromedary, you will continue to the camp for an overnight in traditional nomad tent. Dinner and spend the night in a bivouac in the middle of the dunes.

Day 9: Merzouga – Gorges du – Boumalen Dades

Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dune in the Sahara Desert and then have your breakfast. After these beautiful moments, you will ride your camel back to Merzouga. We depart towards Tineghir passing by Erfoud and Tinejdad. Have a break for lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue to Todra gorges via Tineghir. Stopping along the way for photos and admiring the views. Arrival to Todra Gorges to enjoy its marvelous Canyons views while hiking on foot.
