Itinerary

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat

Stop At: Hassan II Mosque, Blvd Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdallah, Casablanca 20450 Morocco
According to your flight time, our driver will be waiting for you at Casablanca’s Airport Gates, holding a sign with your name written on it. Then, we will start our trip by visiting the famous Hassan II Mosque of Casablanca, a top touristic destination in Casablanca mainly for its size and unique architecture.
After visiting the mosque, our driver will drop you at your hotel in Rabat.

Day 2: Rabat – Asilah – Chefchaouen

Stop At: Medina of Rabat, Rabat 10030 Morocco
After breakfast, hop on our vehicle to visit the Udaya Kasbah.
The Kasbah of the Udayas is a kasbah (Castle) in Rabat, Morocco. It is located at the mouth of the Bou Regreg river, adjacent to the old medina of Rabat. It is listed, along with other sites in Rabat, as a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Stop At: Hassan Tower, Boulevard Mohamed Lyazidi, Rabat 10030 Morocco
We will visit the Hassan Tower in Rabat, which is the minaret of an incomplete mosque in Rabat.
Originally commissioned by Abu Yusuf Yaqub al-Mansur, the third Caliph of the Almohad Caliphate in 1195, the tower was intended to be the largest minaret in the world along with the mosque, also intended to be the world’s largest.

Stop At: Asilah, Asilah, Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima
We will depart Rabat to go to the beautiful blue and white town, the “Art Town” Asilah. The drive time is around 3 hours.
Asilah is a town on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, south of Tangier. Its old town, or medina, is enclosed by well-preserved 15th-century ramparts and gates, built by colonial Portuguese. The medina is an art hub, known for its murals and Moussem Culturel International d’Asilah, an annual festival. Venues include the exhibition space Centre de Hassan II Rencontres Internationales and early-20th-century Palais Raissouni.

Stop At: Medina of Tangier, Tangier Morocco
Late afternoon, we will arrive at today’s final destination, the coastal city of Tangier.
This is a Moroccan port-city on the Strait of Gibraltar, and has been a strategic gateway between Africa and Europe since Phoenician times. Its whitewashed hillside medina is home to the Dar el Makhzen, a palace of the sultans that’s now a museum of Moroccan artifacts. The American Legation Museum, also in the medina, documents early diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Morocco in an 1821 Moorish-style former consulate.

After visiting the Medina for a short time, we will head to the hotel and spend the night there.

Day 3: Tangier – Chechaouen

Stop At: Chefchaouen, Chefchaouen, Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima
After enjoying our breakfast in Tangier, we will hop on the vehicle and head to Chefchaouen, the romantic Blue Town on top of the Rif Mountains.
Chefchaouen is known for the striking, blue-washed buildings of its old town. Leather and weaving workshops line its steep cobbled lanes. In the shady main square of Place Outa el Hammam is the red-walled Kasbah, a 15th-century fortress and dungeon, and Chefchouen Ethnographic Museum. The octagonal minaret of the Great Mosque rises nearby.

Day 4: Chefchaouen – Meknes – Fes

Stop At: Volubilis, Morocco
After breakfast, we will leave Chefchaouen, after taking a last look at the blue city, from a further away Sightseeing point.
We will head to Meknes, and on the road stop at Volubilis, the ancient Roman city, for a visit of around one hour.
This is a partly excavated Berber-Roman city in Morocco situated near the city of Meknes, and commonly considered as the ancient capital of the kingdom of Mauretania.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Meknes, Meknes, Fes-Meknes
Upon arrival in Meknes, we will first take our lunch here, before visiting the Mausoleum of Sultan Moulay Ismail, who made the city his capital in the 17th century, has courtyards and fountains.
After that, we will visit the ruined Heri es-Souani, which is a vast structure once used as stables and for food storage.

Stop At: Fes, Fes, Fes-Meknes
We will leave Meknes and depart to Fes, where you’ll spend the night in your hotel and get some rest.

Day 5: Fes: One Day Tour

Stop At: Fes, Fes, Fes-Meknes
After breakfast, we will start this One-Day tour of the ancient medieval city of Fes.
Fes El Bali (The Medina) is an ancient walled medina with narrow, car-free streets and ornamented entryways like Bab Guissa and the Blue Gate. Vast 9th-century Karaouiyne University is tiled in vivid painted ceramics, while the towering R’cif Mosque overlooks a lively market square. Souk vendors specialize in perfumes, spices, lamps, and leather, and dining choices range from street kebabs to stylish gourmet restaurants.
We will visit the Medina, along with the Karaouiyne University, but also the famous Mosaic & Potery Cooperative, where we will observe how the traditional marble tiles are made by hand.

Day 6: Fes – Ifrane – Merzouga – Desert Camp

Stop At: Ifrane, Ifrane, Fes-Meknes
After breakfast, we will leave Fes and go up the mountains to the gorgeous little town of Ifrane.
Ifrane is a town in the Middle Atlas Mountains. It’s known for its alpine-style architecture and nearby ski slopes and forests. A stone statue of a lion near leafy Parc la Prairie is a well-known landmark.

Pass By: Merzouga, Merzouga, Draa-Tafilalet
After leaving Ifrane, we will head to Merzouga, the gate to the Sahara Desert. You will certainly feel the huge weather difference, from the cold and fresh weather of Ifrane, to the hot and arid weather of the desert!

Stop At: Merzouga Desert, Merzouga Morocco
The sunrises and sunsets in the desert have become a unique desert scenery in Morocco. Here you will see the highest sand dune (red sand) in Africa. It is one of the locations where the film “Lawrence of Arabia” was shot.
In the afterglow of the setting sun, stroll quietly on the Sahara desert and enjoy the beauty of the Sahara desert. In the evening, stay in a comfortable desert tent hotel. At night in Sahara, photography enthusiasts can shoot the starry night sky, quicksand light and shadow, and the moon. The brightness of the Milky Way makes you feel the vastness of the universe.

Day 7: Desert Camp – Todgha Gorges – Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate

Stop At: Todgha Gorge, R 703 near the town of Tinerhir, Tinerhir 45520 Morocco
After watching the sunrise over the golden sand dunes, and enjoying the typical Berber breakfast from the heart of the Sahara Desert, we will hop on our vehicle to The Todgha Gorges.
Those are a series of limestone river canyons, in the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco, near the town of Tinerhir. Both the Todgha and neighbouring Dades Rivers are responsible for carving out these deep cliff-sided canyons, on their final 40 kilometres through the mountains.

Stop At: Valley of the Roses, Dades Valley near Bouteghrar, El Kelaa M’gouna 43000 Morocco
【Please Note: We will only stop at The Valley of the Roses during the Rose Festival, in spring. We will not stop here during other seaons】
The rose oil in here is a favorite market for European perfume merchants, coming from all accross the northern continent during the rose season to buy the goods. We will afterward proceed to the “African Hollywood”: Ouarzazate.

Day 8: Ouarzazate – Aït Ben Haddou – Marrakesh

Stop At: Ouarzazate, Ouarzazate, Draa-Tafilalet
After breakfast, we will start our day by visiting Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood” of North Africa. If the time allows, we will have a brief visit to the Kasbah of Ouarzazate.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou, Souss-Massa
We will leave Ouarzazate and head to the nearby Aït Ben Haddou.
Aït Ben Haddou is a Kasbah (fortified castle) along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech in present-day Morocco. Most citizens attracted by the tourist trade live in more modern dwellings in a village on the other side of the river, although there are four families still living in the ancient village.

After the visit, we will continue our journey to Marrakesh, where we will spend the night and have some rest.

Day 9: Marrakesh: One Day Tour

Stop At: Jardin Majorelle, Rue Yves Saint Laurent, Marrakech 40090 Morocco
We will start this in-depth exploration of the beautiful city of Marrakesh, by visiting and spending some time in Jardin Majorelle, while our guide explains the history of this magical place. We will also visit the nearby YSL museum if you so wish, but the tickets are not included with this tour package.

Stop At: El Badi Palace, Ksibat Nhass, Marrakech Morocco
We will continue to the El-Badi Palace, which is a ruined palace, that was originally commissioned by the sultan Ahmad al-Mansur of the Saadian dynasty sometime shortly after his accession in 1578. The palace’s construction was funded by a substantial ransom paid by the Portuguese after the Battle of the Three Kings.

Stop At: Koutoubia Mosque, Rue el Ksour, Derb Sabai, 13, Marrakech 40000 Morocco
After we take lunch, we will continue our journey toward the Kutubiyya Mosque. This is the largest mosque in Marrakesh. Its name is also variably rendered as Jami’ al-Kutubiyah, Kutubiya Mosque, Kutubiyyin Mosque, and Mosque of the Booksellers.

Stop At: Dar Si Said Museum, 8 Rue de la Bahia, Marrakech 40000 Morocco
Renown as one of the most beautiful museums in Morocco, you will not only see the working of the different styles of Moroccan carpets, but also the splendid architecture and the marvelous works of the various rooms of the building.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Jemaa el-Fnaa, 38 Jemaa el-Fna, Rue El Ksour, Marrakech Morocco
If you visit Marrakesh, you HAVE to visit Jemaa el-Fnaa. This is a square and market place in Marrakesh’s medina quarter (old city). It remains the main square of Marrakesh, used by locals and tourists. It is best to visit the square during night time, as it is at its most active state.
