Majorelle Garden is a botanical garden as well as a 4.8 hectare artistic garden which was once the home of the famous French painter named Jacques Majorelle in 1924. He stopped in Marrakech during the recovery period due to a heart attack.

After his death, the park was bought and developed by French designer Yves Saint Laurent.

In this plant there is a collection of ceramic jewelery and paintings by Jacques Majorelle, there is also the Islamic Art Museum of Marrakech which has a North Africa textile collection from Yves Saint Laurent.

Day 3: MARRAKECH – RABAT – FES

The Hassan Tour or Menara Hassan is actually a minaret of the mosque that has not yet been completed. The tower which began construction in 1195 was originally intended to be part of the largest mosque in the world. But in 1199 Sultan Yacoub el-Mansour died and then the construction of the mosque was stopped. By that time, the tower had reached a height of 44 meters, half of the desired height. The mosque that was built was not yet finished and only a few walls and 200 pillars had been built.

Kasbah Oudaya is a kasbah (a residence for local leaders and for defense when the city is attacked, shaped like a tall fort without windows) located in Rabat, Morocco, precisely at the mouth of the Bouregreg river opposite the city of Salé.

The Oudaya Kasbah was built during the Muwahidun dynasty (centered in Marrakech with the meaning of monotheistic people) in the 12th century AD, They added a palace and mosque and named it ‘al-Mahdiyya’, from their ancestors al-Mahdi Ibnu Tumart.
