What to Expect When Visiting Fes, Fez-Meknès, Morocco

Itinerary
Day 1: Azrou, Ifrane, Midelt, Ziz Valley, Merzouga
Stop At: Ifrane, Ifrane, Fes-Meknes
Starting with a 7:00 AM Pickup from your accommodation. During our trip we will see Immouzer Kander which is one of the biggest water sources in Morocco. Then we will carry on to Ifrane that is considered a magical mountain town and one of the most beautiful cities in Morocco which looks like little Switzerland. Your personal driver will introduce you to some of the most charming places and marvelous landscapes, as you find the most captivating flowing rivers all over this charming town. Continue to Azrou.

Stop At: Azrou, Azrou, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
We will move to Azrou, an old Berber town with the largest cedar forest in Africa. Where you can enjoy your free time in the breezy forest to wander through the green forest.

Stop At: Midelt, Midelt, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
Arriving to Midelt, Berber village located in the middle Atlas mountain, we will stop by a local restaurant for lunch.
Duration: 40 minutes
Stop At: Errachidia, Errachidia, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
Driving through the Middle Atlas Mountains, and driving further down the mountain. However, Ziz river near Errachidia brings life to what could have been inhabitant and dead.

Stop At: Merzouga Desert, Merzouga Morocco
Upon arrival to Merzouga, and after a welcoming tea. You will ride your Camel gently to the desert set between the desert golden dunes. Overnight accommodation in a tent and dinner under blanket of stars. Furthermore; the local team played live in the middle of the dunes.

Day 2: Merzouga. Rissani. Midelt. Fes
Stop At: Merzouga, Merzouga, Draa-Tafilalet
Early morning, we’ll enjoy Sunrise in the desert of Merzouga Breakfast & shower.

Stop At: Rissani, Rissani, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
Zawiya Moulay Ali Ash-Sharif established to honor Alawite dynasty founder, dramatic Ziz valley, another Stop front of the lake el Hassan el Awal.
Duration: 40 minutes
Stop At: Midelt, Midelt, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
We will stop in one of the local resturants with a view to enjoy lunch in a Berber village located in the middle Atlas mountain.
Duration: 40 minutes
Stop At: Fes, Fes, Fes-Meknes
Our last stop would be in Fes; the ancient city, where your driver will drop in at your Hotel / Riad.
Duration: 5 minutes
