Itinerary
Day 1: Desert Tour from Fez to Merzouga
Stop At: Medina of Fez, Fes 30000 Morocco
Around 7:30 am, your English, French speaking guide will pick you up from your accommodation. Hop inside a very comfortable and air-conditioned Mercedes minivan and begin your 2 days desert tour from Fez to Marrakech or back to Fez
Duration: 10 minutes
Stop At: Ifrane, Ifrane, Fes-Meknes
Kindly note the road to Merzouga is 7 hours long. However along the way we will make several stops to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the kingdom, to rest and a break for lunch.
Our first stop is Ifrane, an alp styled village in the middle atlas mountains. A stop for breakfast and to enjoy the Switzerland of Morocco.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Azrou Cedar Forest, Azrou Morocco
Continue to the Cedar forest of Azrou, inhabitant by macaque monkeys eagerly waiting along side the road for passengers to feed them.
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: Midelt, Midelt, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
Arriving to Midelt and an hour break for lunch, in a local restaurant.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Errachidia, Errachidia, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
Continue south, you will start to notice the changing landscape from green, and mountainous to dry and desert-ish.
Just before Errachidia, we will stop at a view point to look over a Oasis of 40 KM stretching of palm trees.
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Merzouga, Merzouga, Draa-Tafilalet
Arriving to Merzouga, ride your camel through the golden dunes of Erg Chabbi for around 45 minutes. Arriving to the camp climb one of dunes to watch the sunset. After dinner served followed by a live drum show around a bonfire.

Day 2: Desert Tour; Merzouga to Ouarzazate Via Todgha
Stop At: Merzouga, Merzouga, Draa-Tafilalet
An early wake up, to witness the dreamiest sunrise. After breakfast, depart back to Fez or continue to Marrakech
Duration: 3 hours
Stop At: Todgha Gorge, R 703 near the town of Tinerhir, Tinerhir 45520 Morocco
A stop at the Todgha Gorge, for you to enjoy the canyon and stroll through the Gorges of Dades,
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Ouarzazate, Ouarzazate, Draa-Tafilalet
Continue through the road of Kasbahs and upon arrival to Ouarzazate a visit to the city’s main sights.
Install at your 4 stars hotel, dinner included.

Day 3: Desert Tour; Ouarzazate to Marrakech
Stop At: El Kelaa M’gouna, El Kelaa M’gouna, Souss-Massa
We continue the 3 days desert tour along the “Route of the Thousand Kasbahs”, until Kalaat Mgouna – The City of Roses. We also visited the traditional villages of Skoura and ‘El Kelaa des M’Gouna.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou, Souss-Massa
At lunchtime we stopped in Ait Benhaddou, the most important place on the ‘Thousand Kasbahs’ route, classified as World Heritage by UNESCO. Very famous for having served as a stage in many Hollywood films, such as: “The Mummy”, “The Gladiator” and “Game of Thrones”.

Stop At: Tizi n Tichka, Imlil Village, Ouarzazate 45000 Morocco
Continue through the high Atlas Mounatains and through the Tizi n’Tishka pass to Marrakech
Duration: 15 minutes
Pass By: Marrakech, Marrakech, Marrakech-Safi
Arriving to Marrakech and an end to a fabulous 3 days desert tour from Fez to Marrakech and drop off at your hotel in the Red city
