Sahara desert trips and Sahara desert tours 3days /2nights will take you acroos the midle Atlas mountains in private tour that explores dunes, Berber culture, towering gorges, and historic fortified kasbahs, including Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With the personalized service of a private guide, you’ll experience Morocco at your own pace, traveling in a rugged 4×4 vehicle. This tour includes some meals, as well as accommodations in a Dades Valley kasbah and a beautiful desert camp, where you’ll wake for sunrise amid the Saharan sand dunes.

Day 1: Fez to Merzouga via Cedar Forest – middle Atlas
Today, we will pick you up from your riad in fes, and drive towards the south via the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in the cedar forest to see the Barbarian Ape in their natural habitat. Traveling through the Tizi Ntalghamt pass to Midelt and along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock, you’ll see views of the Middle-Atlas plateau, noticing how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city Errachidia. After lunch, we’ll continue our journey through the Ziz valley to Rissani and Merzouga, our home. After a glass of mint tea, you’ll be ready for your camel and guided by an experienced camel guide you’ll start your safari exploring within the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi. Here you’ll spend your night under the stars in a traditional Berber nomad tent. Dinner will be served in the tent where you’ll spend the night.

Day 2: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
Your camel guide will wake you up early in the morning to watch what well may be the best sunrise of your life. Afterwards, you’ll peacefully camel-trek back to your Riad appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. After breakfast in the Riad, you’ll leave for Tinghir and Todra gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. Here you’ll have the opportunity to hike along it’s valley. After lunch in the heart of the gorge we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Overnight accommodation will be in a hotel in the heart of the gorge.
Pass By: Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou, Douar Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou 45000 Morocco
Day 3: Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech.
After breakfast in the hotel we’ll drive through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The route through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand Kasbahs – providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip. We’ll stop at Kalaat Mgouna, “the rose city”, to purchase the rosewater, which will make your linen smell good a long time after your trip is over. Continue to Ouarzazat, “the Hollywood of Africa”. Lunch is at the famous Ait Ben Haddou kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. After touring this UNESCO matrimonial historical site, now a house of the Glaoui family members, our journey will continue through the majestic Tizi ‘n’ tichka pass (2260m) over the High Atlas Mountains, before arriving at your accommodation in Marrakech, where the tour ends.
