After breakfast city tour of Fez. Beginning with the Bab Boujloud door which unfolds a beautiful esplanade on which every year the free concerts of the Festival of Fes sacred music of the world take place.
Stop At: Volubilis, Morocco
An ancient Berber and Roman site in the mountains, Volubilis is one of Morocco’s most significant places of archaeological interest. Just 30 kilometers outside of Meknes, it is easy to visit on a day trip. Now a UNESCO-listed site, you can see stone carvings, statues, mosaics, extensive foundations and numerous dividing walls, an ancient bathhouse, a section of an aqueduct, and more. Information boards around the complex explain the significance of different sections.

A panoramic view on Moulay Driss holy status. The whitewashed town of Moulay Idriss sits astride two green hills in a cradle of mountains and is one of the country’s most important pilgrimage sites. Given its picturesque setting, pretty historic core and national importance, it’s a mystery why more tourists don’t visit.
