Itinerary

Day 1: Fes – Merzouga

Stop At: Ifrane, Ifrane, Fes-Meknes
You will have a stop in Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco to enjoy its beauty and to have memorable photos
Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Azrou Cedar Forest, Azrou Morocco
After that, you will head toward Azrou to see the monkeys in the cedar forest.
Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Midelt, Midelt, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
Continuing to Midelt for a lunch meal in a restaurant.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Errachidia, Errachidia, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
In the afternoon, we will cross the pass of TIZI N TALGHAMT to reach Errachidia while admiring the views of Ziz gorges. Later on, you will have a stop for a panoramic view of Ziz valley.
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Merzouga, Merzouga, Draa-Tafilalet
The drive continues to Erg Chebbi Dunes passing by Aoufous and Erfoud (the last is famous with fossils and dates) where you may want to visit a local fossil craft workshop.
After that you will continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, these dunes are called also Merzouga Dunes. Arrive at the hotel and get ready for a camel trek for an hour and a half to enjoy the sunset. While on the back of your dromedary, you will continue to the camp for an overnight in a traditional nomad tent.
Dinner and spend the night in a bivouac in the middle of the dunes.

Day 2: Merzouga – Dades Valley

Stop At: Moulay Ali Cherif Mausoleum, 600 Metres From N13, Rissani 52450 Morocco
Wake up early morning to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dune in the Sahara Desert then have your breakfast. After these beautiful moments, you will ride your camel back to the hotel where you can take a shower.
Rissani is a city that surprises, the town at the gateway to the desert is a must-see, This unexpected mausoleum is well worth a visit, ancient ruler and the ancestor of the current king. His mausoleum, like the rest of the late Sultans of Morocco, is tailored in Moroccan architecture within a mosque and halls for reading the Quran.

Stop At: Ksar Oulad Abdelhalim, Rissani 54252 Morocco
Ksar Oulad Abdelhalim is a well-known historical building. Earlier called the Alhambra of the Tafilalt, this building was built for the elder brother of Sultan Moulay Hassan in 1863. It was built by Sultan Sidi Mohamed ben Abderrahmane.

Stop At: Gargantas del Todra, Tinerhir 45800 Morocco
In the afternoon, we will continue to Todra gorges via Tineghir. Stopping along the way for photos and admiring the views. Arrive at Todra Gorges to enjoy its marvelous Canyons views while hiking on foot.

Stop At: Boumalne Dades, Boumalne Dades, Souss-Massa
The Dades Valley is scattered with oases, palm groves, and elaborate kasbahs. The valley itself is made lush and green by the Dades River, which rises from the High Atlas Mountains before emptying into Morocco’s largest river, the Draa.

Day 3: Dades – Marrakech

Stop At: Roses Valley, El Kelaa M’gouna N10, El Kelaa M’gouna 45800 Morocco
The Valley of the Roses has been carved by the Assif M’Goun river as it twists and turns its way down to the town of Kalaat M’Gouna. An exhilarating windy 30 km paved road runs alongside the river, with excellent views of the mesmerizing red rock / green valley combination.

Stop At: Ouarzazate, Ouarzazate, Draa-Tafilalet
Ouarzazate (pronounced almost like: “Where’s Oz At”) carries with it the usual chilled-out charm of the southern regions, but because of its size, has a bit of a cosmopolitan feel, which is no surprise considering its infamous connection with blockbuster cinema. Two major film production studios are located here, a film school and even a museum of cinema. The number of A-list celebrities that have graced the streets and cafés of Ouarzazate is impressive. From Brad Pitt to Cate Blanchett and Martin Scorsese, many of Hollywood’s most successful actors, directors, and producers have spent weeks, if not months, here working and enjoying all Ouarzazate and the surrounding region have to offer.

The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, is the most famous of all Moroccan kasbahs, largely due to its appearance in many Hollywood blockbusters. It was one of the most important fortress strongholds on the old Salt Road caravan routes, where traders brought slaves, gold, ivory, and salt from sub-Saharan Africa to Marrakech and beyond.

Stop At: Tizi n Tichka, Imlil Village, Ouarzazate 45000 Morocco
We will cross the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass, 2260m the highest pass in Morocco.
