We will visit the Mosque and University of Karaouiyn. This is the oldest continually operating university in the whole world, as it dates back to 859 CE.

Built in the 11th century, this is the largest and oldest tannery in the city. It is located in the Fes el Bali, the oldest medina quarter of the city, near the Saffarin Madrasa along the river.
