Stop At: Museo Nejjarine, Pl. Nejjarine, Fes 30030 Morocco

El-Nejjarine Museum is one of the best-known attractions in Fez, Morocco. This caravanserai was declared a national monument in 1916 and listed as a World Heritage of Unesco. Its three floors currently house the Wood Museum.

Morocco. It is dedicated to and contains the tomb of Idris II, who ruled Morocco from 807 to 828 and is considered the main founder of the city of Fes . The UNESCO listed this attraction as one of the holiest shrines in Morocco.

Stop At: Kairaouine Mosque (Mosque of al-Qarawiyyin), Fes el-Bali Qayruwan quarters, Fes 30030 Morocco

It is the oldest existing, yet still, active university institution in the world according to UNESCO and Guinness World Records, and is referred to as the oldest university by scholars.

Stop At: Chouara Tannery, Hay Lablida Chouara, Fes 30030 Morocco

This tannery consists of several stone vessels filled with natural dyes and numerous liquids. Dozens of men are often in and out of standing waist-deep in the vessels, working under the hot sun to prepare the animal hides soaking in each vessel. The tannery works with a variety of different hides from cows, sheep, goat, and camel, and turn them into the beautifully made leather products.
