In day one around 08h00 we will head to the High Atlas Mountains along the Tizi’n’Tichka pass. On our way we will be able to admire the breathtaking landscapes and the villages along the valleys and above the rivers. We will stop for lunch in Ouarzazate, visit the Kasbah of Taourirt and the cinema studio (optional). After lunch we will continue our journey towards Zagora. We travel down the impressive Draa Valley, the biggest palm grove in all of Morocco and a route that is littered with hundreds of kasbahs. On our arrival in Zagora we will find camels and Touareg cameleers waiting to take us on a camel ride into the sand dunes and the desert. We will spend the evening in our Bedouin camp and dine around the campfire under the stars.
In day two we will leave our desert paradise at around 09h00 and make our way back along the Draa Valley until we reach the magnificent Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. This is one of the most splendid in Morocco, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will have lunch here and after our visit tot the kasbah we resume our journey to Marrakech.
