Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Benhaddou – Zagora
Stop At: High Atlas Mountains, 40000 Morocco
Drive through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains offering breathtaking views for you to take you memorable shots. Your private driver/guide will share his rich knowledge about the “Berber” Amazigh cultural lifestyle & why the indigenous people of not only Morocco but north of Africa chose to predominantly take mountains & the Sahara Desert as a refuge.
You’ll include along the way many short breaks for you to chill out, enjoy the panoramic views, and the option to visit a local feminine Argan Cooperative.

Stop At: Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou, Souss-Massa
You’ll have a guided walking tour of this dramatic & UNESCO listed Kser or Village of Ait Benhaddou. It consists of numerous Kasbahs (fortresses), which are a striking example of southern architecture. It has a rich history dating back to the 14th century and played the role of a commercial center when the caravans used to cross the Atlas Mountains from Marrakech and heading to the Sub-Saharan Countries.
Ait Benhaddou has been used as a perfect backdrop for shooting numerous national & international movies including Gladiator, Sahara, Kingdom of Heaven, Lawrence of Arabia, Prince of Persia and many others.

Stop At: Draa Valley, Zagora 45600 Morocco
After lunch, you’ll continue on the track further south to Zagora with an interesting drive through the Anti-Atlas Mountains with its unique geological formations. Then, through the palm valley of Draa, that is shrouded in mystery being the main caravan route to the Sahara from Marrakech.

Stop At: Zagora, Zagora, Souss-Massa
Once you arrive in Zagora, you’ll have a camel trek to our desert camp where you’ll enjoy a nice dinner served under the illuminating stars or inside our tented restaurants. Later, you may want to watch the stars, have the time of entertainment before culminating the whole day with a nice sleep under the stars or in your private and ensuite tent.

Day 2: Zagora – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Stop At: Ouarzazate, Ouarzazate, Draa-Tafilalet
This is optional – You may want to include a visit to the famous Atlas Film Studios where most of the international movies were filmed. You can meander around the Cleopatras’ Home, the Gladiators’ Battle Arena, and much more.

Stop At: High Atlas Mountains, 40000 Morocco
Once again, you’ll drive back to Marrakech through the majestic High-Atlas Mountains while including many breaks for you to chill out, have drinks…You’ll arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
