Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech – Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou- Dadès

Pass By: Dades Gorges, R704 Atlas Mountains, Boumalne Dades 45350 Morocco
Pick-up where the client stays (Riad or Hotel) at 8.30 a.m.
Departure from Marrakech, direction the Dades Gorges, crossing the High Atlas, mandatory step to reach our destination and passing through the highest mountain pass in all of Morocco, the Tizi-n-Tichka (2260m), with panoramic stops and spectacular views that will surprise us, until we reach the Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, where we can stop to eat quietly and then visit the Kasbah, World Heritage Site by Unesco and place where many Hollywood movies have been shot.
Once the Kasbah is visited, the route continues to the Gorges of the Dadès, passing through Ouarzazate the capital of the cinema, where the “Atlas Estudios” film studios are located in which films such as Gladiator, Asterix and Cleopatra, The Jewel have been recorded of the Nile, and many others known. It passes through the Skoura Valley, called the “Route of the Thousand Kasbahs” and the Valley of the Roses

Day 2: The gorges of Dadès – The desert “Erg Chebbi”

Pass By: Erg Chebbi, Erg Chebbi, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
After breakfast, departure from the gorges of the Dadès to go through the Todra Valley to its gorges, the highest in Morocco, where you can walk for a while along the river bank, and enjoying a wonderful landscape.
The route continues in 4×4 to the palm groves of Jorf, where a stop is made to visit some channels that are underground, a very old irrigation system used by the townspeople to bring water to their palm trees and their orchards. You pass through the small town of Erfoud, known for the mineralized fossil capital, and in the afternoon we arrive at the great dunes of Erg Chebbi, where a caravan of dromedaries awaits you to take a walk and watch the sunset.

Day 3: The desert “Erg Chebbi” – Marrakech

Pass By: Ouarzazate, Ouarzazate, Draa-Tafilalet
Day to get up early and walk through the dunes to see the sunrise. Exit the desert with the vehicle to go on the road to Marrakech through the population of the ancient nomads, Rissani. The route will continue towards the Draa Valley, its name is given by the river that crosses this entire valley, the Draa River, which is the longest in southern Morocco and this is born in the High Atlas and flows into the white beach of Tantan , in the Atlantic Sea. Landscapes of palm trees, orchards, and villages of the draues will flood the road until we reach Aït Saoun, a lunar-looking mountain pass, which we will cross until we reach Ouarzazate, where again, we will have to take the road that crosses the Alto Atlas, unique passage between the desert and Marrakech.
