Itinerary
Day 1: MARRAKECH – AIT BEN HADDOU – DADES
Stop At: Aït Benhaddou, Morocco
The road leading to Dades from Marrakech is about 6 hours driving plus stops. We will cross the High Atlas through the mountain pass of Tizi n’Tichka, enjoying wonderful mountain views dotted with small Berber villages.
Our stop is in the mythical fortified city, the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Their adobe houses have been the scene of Game of Thrones or Gladiator.

Stop At: Musee du Cinema, Av. Mohamed V, Ouarzazate 45000 Morocco
If desired, you can visit the Ouarzazate film studios, where scenes from the first Star Wars movie were filmed.

Stop At: Boumalne Dades, Boumalne Dades, Souss-Massa
Following the route of the thousand kasbahs, we will arrive in Dades where we will spend the night. The zigzagging road of its gorges is the most spectacular in all of Morocco.

Day 2: DADES – TODRA – DESERT OF MERZOUGA
Stop At: Roses Valley, El Kelaa M’gouna N10, El Kelaa M’gouna 45800 Morocco
The valley of the roses in Dades is famous for the cosmetics that are made from this flower and the festival that they make for the time of flowering.
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: Gargantas del Todra, Tinerhir 45800 Morocco
On the way to the desert, we detour a bit to tour the impressive gorges of the Todra River and admire its vertical walls on either side of the road. The oasis full of palm trees will accompany our tour.

Stop At: Merzouga, Merzouga, Draa-Tafilalet
In the afternoon we will arrive in the desert and if there is time to visit the fossil quarries near Erfoud and be able to leave the car if you want to take a camel ride to your camp or your accommodation.

Day 3: DESERT – FEZ
Stop At: Erg Chebbi, Erg Chebbi, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
We recommend getting up at dawn for a walk to see the sunrise from the dunes. Afterwards we pick you up with the car to cross part of the desert and see the dunes of Merzouga and surroundings.
Duration: 3 hours
Stop At: Vallée de ZIZ, QQQ6+X68, Errachidia, Morocco
We will stop to admire the overflowing greenery of the Ziz Valley, just after leaving the desert.
Duration: 10 minutes
Stop At: Midelt, Midelt, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
The city of apples that we will cross is going to be another of our intermediate stops on today’s 7-hour drive to Fez.

Stop At: Azrou Cedar Forest, Azrou Morocco
Before reaching Fez we will cross the Atlas Mountains. The Azrou cedar forest where we will make a small stop on our way, is home to barbary macaques that live in freedom, although they are used to tourists who make this journey.

Stop At: Fes, Fes, Fes-Meknes
We leave you at the agreed point in the imperial city of Fez, this being the end of the 3-day tour. The visit to Fez is not included.
