Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – High atlas Mountains – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
Pass By: Boumalne Dades, Boumalne Dades, Souss-Massa
Departure from Marrakech, our 3 days Marrakech to Merzouga tour starts with crossing the dramatic landscape of the High Atlas Mountains passing through the Berber town of Taddert and over the 2260 meters high Tizi-in-Tichka pass with stops for panoramic views and taking pictures of the Berber villages and its beautiful landscape, we will stop at the famous Ait Ben haddou Kasbah where you will visit its Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. At this spectacular location, several movies such as Gladiator, Jewel of the Nile, and Sahara with Penelope Cruz, have been filmed. After the visit, we will continue to Ouarzazate The Hollywood of Africa also known as “The gateway to the desert”, through the “Road of the thousand Kasbahs”- the fascinating “sand castles”.we will continue in our journey to stop at Kalaat Mgouna, “the rose’s city” known for roses and its annual festival during the roses harvest in May before we achieve Dades Valley where it will be the first night of your 3 days Marrakech Sahara tour.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Erfoud –Errissani—Merzouga
Pass By: Merzouga Desert, Merzouga Morocco
After breakfast in the hotel, Leave the Dades valley towards Tinrghir and the Todra Gorges, the highest oasis valley gorge in Morocco, Watch the panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages overlooking the valley. Get to the Gorge and walk under the 300m high red cliff, where many Rock-climbers come to enjoy their preferred sport. Continue our trip to Erfoud famous for its fossilized marbles, before we head down to Merzouga, where you will meet your camel to Trek through the desert, over the red dunes, until all you see is sand and sky, and the quiet is only broken by the occasional snort of the camels and the soft sound of their steps on the sand. Stop to watch the sunset along the way before Arriving at your camp, where you will be welcomed with mint tea and cookies. After some time to admire the sand dunes and the surrounding landscapes, get ready for a Moroccan dinner served under the stars next to the campfire. After dinner, you will gather around the fire to admire a typical Berber music performed using drums under the sky full of stars.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Nkob – Agdz – Ouarzazate – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

Wake up early to see the spectacle of the sunrise, when the color of the dunes and the play of shadows are an awesome sight, take a camel ride back to the Hotel to freshening up and having breakfast. then we leave for Rissani, it is the largest and the most crowded weekly Market in the South of Morocco, walk to see craft stores, dates market, animal trades ( such as goats, sheep, donkeys, Camels and cows ) then we continue our way return to Marrakech via a different way. We will pass through Alnif, Nekob to reach Draa Valley with its millions palm trees. Before to achieve Ouarzazate, if time allowed you can visit Taourirt Kasbah and the well-known film studios, then our Marrakech Merzouga Desert trip will end by crossing the high Atlas mountains again back to the red city. we will drop you off at your hotel or airport and end of our services.
