Your hosts at the Amal Center will help you recreate authentic Moroccan dishes cooked the traditional way. Choose from a variety of favorite tajines including chicken with preserved lemon, beef or lamb with prunes and almonds, fish or vegetarian. You can even make sophisticated chicken pastilla or couscous for a small extra fee.

Our cooking class setting is one-of-a-kind, with a dedicated workshop in our beautiful, peaceful garden, an oasis of peace in a busy city!
During the class, while our tajines simmer over charcoal, we’ll have a traditional Moroccan tea ceremony. It is a chance to be together and talk about the work Amal has been doing over the last 11 years to empower women and serve the community.
