Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Dades Valley

Stop At: Marrakech, Marrakech, Marrakech-Safi
Our Morocco tour starts today and we will meet you at your hotel in Marrakech. We pick up you and we start our Tour from Marrakech travelling to the Dades Valley via the Tizi n’Tichka mountain Pass and over the High Atlas Mountains. Today you will enjoy travelling through the fascinating views of the Berber mountains villages. You will enjoy the amazing landscape changing as the day progresses.

Stop At: Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou, Souss-Massa
We will stop at the Unesco – Ait Benhaddou local Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. Built by the last Berber chieftain El Glaoui Et-Hami in the late 19th century, it is now a UNESCO matrimonial historical site, which today still houses many Glaoui family members.

Stop At: Dades Gorges, R704 Atlas Mountains, Boumalne Dades 45350 Morocco
We continue to the Dades Gorge through the road of “the Thousand Kasbahs”, which offers many fine photo opportunities of nature and people. We’ll get to Kalaat M’Gouna – famous for roses and its annual festival during the roses harvest in May , then we drive to the “Dades Valley”. Here you will enjoy seeing the amazing rock formation named as “the monkey toes”. First day of our private Tour from Marrakech finishes and we stay overnight at riad with dinner.

Day 2: Dades – Todgha Gorges – Merzouga Camel Trek

Stop At: Dades Gorges, R704 Atlas Mountains, Boumalne Dades 45350 Morocco
After breakfast ,we leave the Dades Valley towards Tinghir and the Todgha valley.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Gargantas del Todra, Tinerhir 45800 Morocco
We enjoy the panoramic views of the old Berber villages overlooking the valley. We walk under the 300 m high red cliff. We may hike for 1 hour in the valley; meet locals in their fields and learn about the local culture.

Stop At: Merzouga Desert, Merzouga Morocco
After lunch here , our Tour from Marrakech continues to Merzouga via Erfoud. We drive through the valley of Tafilalet, the largest date palm grove in Morocco. We will walk in the authentic souk of Rissani, and listen about the trading caravans travelling as far as Tombouctou in Mali. We reach Merzouga desert in the afternoon and we check in to your riad with dinner.

Day 3: Merzouga desert excursion

Stop At: Merzouga, Merzouga, Draa-Tafilalet
After breakfast in hotel we continue Tour from Marrakech exploring Merzouga desert.

Stop At: Khamlia, Khamlia, Draa-Tafilalet
We will visit the Nomads in their goat hair tent. We learn more about the desert life and we visit the Gnaoua village of Khamlia to listen music of people originally slaves brought from Sudan, Mali and Senegal.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Erg Chebbi Dunes, Morocco
We will ride camels, guided by an experienced camel guide to explore the desert sand of Erg-Chebbi dunes.

Stop At: Merzouga Desert, Merzouga Morocco
We enjoy the beauty of the Sahara desert during the sunset. After that we will have Berber dinner in desert camp where we will spend the night

Day 4: Merzouga – Midelt – Fes

Stop At: Merzouga, Merzouga, Draa-Tafilalet
Today in the morning, we will enjoy the sunrise in Merzouga desert and then we ride camels back to the village in Merzouga.

Stop At: Midelt, Midelt, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
After breakfast in hotel we travel to Fes passing Ziz Valley. We will enjoy the views of amazing landscapes along the way , we pass through the Tizi n’ Talghamt Pass to reach Midelt.

Stop At: Ifrane, Ifrane, Fes-Meknes
We continue through the Middle Atlas mountains and the “Cedar Forest”. Here we may watch the Barbarian apes in the forest. We will visit city of Ifrane which is named as “the Switzerland of Morocco” because of its architecture.

Stop At: Fes, Fes, Fes-Meknes
We continue to Fes, where the Tour from Marrakech ends
