What to Expect When Visiting Marrakech, Marrakech-Safi, Morocco

Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades valley
Stop At: Dades Gorges, R704 Atlas Mountains, Boumalne Dades 45350 Morocco
We will pick you up from your hotel early morning en route to high atlas mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m) (7414 ft). We will make several stops for panoramic views to enjoy beautiful landscapes. We will visit the exclusive Berber mud villages that surround the mountains. After we head to Ait Benhaddou village best known for famous, filmed and photographed fortified Kasbah – UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch will be at the village before heading to Ouarzazate ( Hollywood of Africa ). Later we will proceed to the southern region to the Valley of Roses. Where around 400 tons of rose petals are picked every year and sent to be processed into rose water, creams and perfumes. The festival of roses is held here in May. Later, we drive to Dades valley for overnight and dinner

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Merzouga
Stop At: Merzouga, Morocco
We will have breakfast, as we admire the fascinating rock formation best known as ”monkies fingers” and the mud castles and kasbahs. We will set off to Sahara desert via Todra gorges: a narrow corridor that rises dramatically up to 300 m high on both sides. Later drive for 15 km to Todra valley where we will stop for scenic views. Continuing to Merzouga desert, we will be passing Tinjdad, Malaab, Toroug. Upon arrival at Merzouga, we will ride the camels and cross the golden dunes. On the way, the camel guide will stop for you to see one that could be the most beautiful sunset in your life. Later in the evening, we will continue riding to a bedouin camp for a delicious dinner. After dinner, you will enjoy Berber music played by locals.

Day 3: Moroccan Sahara, Ouarzazate Morocco
Stop At: Western Sahara, Western Sahara
Today you will wake early to watch a magnificent sunrise on top of a dune around the camp. After breakfast, we will begin our desert excursion in the Sahara by visiting the only lake in the desert. We will drive in 4×4 vehicles towards the middle of the Sahara desert where some nomads still live. You will have the chance to sip a cup of tea as you learn about their culture and their means of survival in the desert. Later en route to Mifis mines through the famous route where Ralley Paris Dakar used to race. Then the afternoon we will visit Khamlia village that is inhabited by black Berber people originally from Mali, Niger. We will have a chance to listen to their music and dance as we have lunch ( Berber Pizza). In the evening we will have desert excursion visiting an extraordinary oasis on the edge of dunes. Overnight will be at the Oasis hotel.

Day 4: Merzouga – Ouarzazat – Marrakech
Stop At: Marrakech, Marrakech, Marrakech-Safi
After breakfast, we will leave the silence and tranquility of the desert and travel back to Marrakesh. We will take a different road passing by villages like Alnif, Nkoub, and Agdez. You will see the longest river in Morocco and the stunning Draa Valley, lunch in the village. Continuing, we will cross the anti atlas mountains to arrive at Ouarzazat again. Then, cross the high atlas mountains to Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon and drop off at your accommodation at the end of the 4 Days Marrakech desert tour.
