Marrakech Trip Overview
This tour is going to show you two unique sides of Morocco. The rich culture of the Berbers in the mountains and the stunning Sahara Desert of Merzouga. Especially the hiking trip is something less touristic and still “small”. It’s one of our secret favorite places, which we would love to show to the people. The Sahara Desert, sand as far as you can watch, is something extremely visited that Morocco should see. Sleeping under the stars and the Mikly Way is something you probably never saw in your life before.
So, we do not want to only transport you to touristic places, but we do care about every guest separately. In every accomodation you are going to feel like home. You are going to taste the real moroccan cuisine and meet the very friendly berber population.

Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – Dades
Stop At: Tizi n Tichka, Imlil Village, Ouarzazate 45000 Morocco
The highest point of the road through the Atlas Mountains. Incredible view.
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou, Souss-Massa
Break for a walk around the old Kasbah where they are filmed Game of Thrones. After that enough time for lunch. You can explore the village on your own.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Musee Theatre Memoire de Ouarzazate, 10 Route Nationale Skoura, Ouarzazate 45000 Morocco
You can visit the Movie Studios of Ouarzazate, where they produced a lot of historical movies. Entry costs 10 €
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Dades Gorges, R704 Atlas Mountains, Boumalne Dades 45350 Morocco
Drive through the beautiful mountains of Dades Gorge and the so called “Monkey Fingers”.
Duration: 1 hour

Day 2: Dades
Stop At: Dades Gorges, R704 Atlas Mountains, Boumalne Dades 45350 Morocco
We are going to hike through the Monkey Fingers and explore the area around the River.
You can get traditional skin decoration (“Henna”), learn how to cook typical moroccan dishes as CousCous or Tagine or explore the Berber culture.

Day 3: Dades – Merzouga
Stop At: Todra River, Morocco
Visiting the gorge and a women cooperation, where you can see how they make carpets. So the best area to actually buy one if you would like to do that. After that you are driving further to the desert with the time to stop for lunch.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Merzouga Desert, Merzouga Morocco
When you arrive in Merzouga you will ride with camels into the desert.

Accommodation included: You are spending the night in a camp in the desert under thousands of stars.
(As alternative: Hotel next to the dunes)
Day 4: Merzouga – Marrakech (or Fes)
Stop At: Tizi n Tichka, Imlil Village, Ouarzazate 45000 Morocco
You are driving back to Marrakech the whole day, with a stop in the mountains for lunch.
(As alternative, we can arrange you a transfer to Fès)
