The Agafay desert is not a sand desert – but more sandstone and earthen plateau, traditional mud-built villages, dusty riverbeds are interspersed with spectacular sumptuous pasture and vegetation in springtime. There we can sample a tea with the locals and experience trekking by camel.

Itinerary
Enjoy an hour-long camel trek experience through the arid desert in Agafay neighboring villages and enjoy a glimpse of local life. Take a break to enjoy traditional Moroccan tea and pancakes. The tour starts with pick-up from your hotel or riad and drives to the Agafay Desert around 5 pm where you will prepare for a camel ride and an unforgettable sunset. Stroll by camel through the desert of Agafay enjoying the stunning views of the Atlas Mountains. Observe the traditional daily life of the locals in the neighboring villages. On the way, take a break to savor a Moroccan tea while relaxing and enjoying the beautiful sunset.
