A walking tour of about 1h here to climb to the top of the hill through the labyrinth where the Kasbahs are built together to form a Ksar.
The Ksar of Ait Benhaddou is the most well preserved and looked after Kasbahs in Morocco, it’s a group of small Kasbahs. Ait Ben Haddo Kasbah is a UNESCO world heritage site and a 11th Century fortified hilltop village that was on the old caravan route between Marrakech and the Sahara/Timbuktu. The Ksar of Ait Benhaddou has been featured in countless films and a whole new village has grown up around this beautiful structure with tourism business (shop, hotels & restaurants…etc). You are collected early at 7:30 am from Marrakech to drive through one of the most challenging roads of the High Atlas, the Tizi N’Tichka Pass. This day trip will allow us to see the snowy peaks of the Atlas and beautiful traditional Berber villages along. Once there, you will have lunch in a restaurant before an hour walking tour to the top of the village overlooking the fields and Kasbahs and the Anti Atlas Mountains in the horizon. Walk back to your car and drive to Marrakech through a different way till the pass through N9. Drop off at your hotel around 7 pm.
