The Koutoubia minaret tower is a monumental cheat sheet of Moorish ornament: scalloped keystone arches, jagged merlon crenellations and mathematically pleasing proportions; the square design is an Amazigh trademark. Guests will learn about Almohad denasty architecture and the history of the mosque.

Located next to the mosque of the Kasbah, the Saadian tombs are one of the only vestiges remaining from the Saadian dynasty which reigned on the golden age of Marrakech between 1524 to 1659.
