Marrakech Trip Overview
A very interesting trek and especially recommended in summer, when the cool mountain temperatures offer a good contrast to the strong heat of Marrakech. 3 days through the marvelous High Atlas, surrounding and crossing several valleys and ascending the great Toubkal (4,167 m). We pass in small mountain villages connected only by narrow and winding roads. We will have direct contact with rural life in the Moroccan mountains, always a surprise and a pleasant discovery for its great hospitality
DAY 1: MARRAKECH – IMLIL – TOUBKAL REFUGE: Transfer by our correspondent to Imlil, where we will not meet with our guide and the mules and Ascent to the Neltner refuge (3,207 m) eat on the way and have dinner and sleep in the refuge of Toubkal 6h
Day 2: TOUBKAL ASCENSION – Imlil
Ascent to the summit of Toubkal (4167 m). And return to shelter. To eat and go down to sleep in the hostel in imlil Shower, dinner and night 10 hours.
Day 3: after breakfast Transport to marrakech

DAY 1: MARRAKECH – IMLIL – TOUBKAL REFUGE: Transfer by our correspondent to Imlil, where we will not meet with our guide and mules and Ascent to the Neltner refuge (3,207 m)
Ascent to the Neltner refuge (3,207 m) passing through the “Sidi Chamarouch marabout” cemer along the way and Continuation to the refuge along a path that climbs regularly. Night and dinner in shelter
DAY 2: ASCENSION TO TOUBKAL – M’ZIK
Ascent to the summit of Toubkal (4,167 m). The path skirts the ascent paddle. The first 200 m are sloping; then it softens; from 3,700 to 3,850 m, it climbs again; and finally comes the crest, followed by a ridge. All this involves an ascent of 3 and a half hours and a descent of approximately 2 and a half hours. At noon, lunch in shelter and descent to M’zik. Accommodation and dinner at the lodge.
Day 3: M’zik / Imlil-Marrakech
After breakfast in a hostel in M’zik village, walk down to imlil and transfer from Imlil to Marrakech
