There are also many small Berber villages along the lush valleys that wind up to this beautiful region of the High Atlas Mountains, a perfect setting off point for the many trekking and walking options.
Imlil is a busy little village as it lays at the crossroads of several more valleys that lead up to the peaks and passes. Mules and their muleteers are the prefered method of transport and for carrying trekkers gear on longer adventures and summit treks.
