Marrakech Trip Overview

You will leave Marrakech at 8:30 am. The driving time will be 3 and a half hours, and just before arriving in Essaouira, you will cross the Argan forest where you will see goats on the trees. Stop for photos and On the way to Essaouira, stop at an argan cooperative to see how women make argan oil, nut butter and comics from argan nuts . Upon arrival in Essaouira, you will meet a local guide to take you on a tour of the city. Visit this medieval city by the sea, home to beautiful whitewashed houses with blue shutters, colonnades, thuja wood workshops, art galleries and mouth-watering seafood.
After a Lunch at the port of Essaouira, you also continue to discover the 15th century Portuguese port built at the foot of its ramparts.
end of the day return to Marrakech at 6 p.m.

Once arrived in Essaouira, visit the port considered in the period of the 18th century as a leading international port, connecting Morocco, and its Saharan hinterland to Europe, and the rest of the world. Visit of the medina; built according to the principles of the European military architecture of the time, La scala, (former military base), and its cannons targeting the Atlantic, the old Jewish quarter “El Mellah”, and the central square. After visiting the medina, and its very lively streets, have lunch in a place by the sea; fish specialty (Grill, fried foods, seafood, shellfish, and many others …). After lunch you have free time.
