Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Zagora
Stop At: Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou, Souss-Massa
Your guide will join you after lunch to make you visit the old Kasbah, a fortified city of the 17th century, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987, which has served as a film set for several films and series with great success (Un Thé au Sahara, The Gladiator, Game of Thrones …)! Lose yourself in the alleys that wind between houses built in the earth, perched on the hill!

Stop At: Taourirt Kasbah, Avenue Mohammed V, Ouarzazate 45000 Morocco
We will join Ouarzazate where we will stop for the visit of Kasbah Taourirt, magnificent former Berber palace that belonged to Pasha El Glaoui, built in the early 1700. A magical place where you will have the opportunity to admire the beauty of the architecture Berber of past centuries.

Day 2: Zagora – Tamegroute – M’hamid El Ghizlaine – Oum Lahlag – Erg Chigaga
Stop At: Tamegroute, Morocco
On the way, we will stop at the village of Tamegroute where your guide will wait for you to visit the city, a jewel of the Moroccan desert. You will be able to visit the Zaouia Naciria, burial places of the holy scholar who founded the city in the 17th century, the Qur’anic Library which houses manuscripts dating back 900 years, the mysterious underground Kasbah and pottery workshops known for its enamel brilliant green in all the Kingdom.

Stop At: M’Hamid, M’Hamid, Souss-Massa
We arrive at M’hamid el Ghizlaine, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch before starting the adventure. The small village is retained as “Door of the Desert”!

Stop At: Oum Laalag, Souss-Massa-Draâ, Morocco
Towards the dunes, we will stop at Oum Laalag, also called Sacred Oasis because in the middle of the desert, a source of fresh water gushes permanently from under the sand.
Duration: 20 minutes
Pass By: Atmospher Erg Chigaga, M’Hamid El Ghizlane, M’Hamid Morocco
Arrived at Erg Chigaga … An infinite expanse of dunes that can reach 300 meters of altitude making this “erg” one of the largest and wildest of the Sahara. You will have the opportunity to ride camel for a beautiful walk, and admire the spectacle of the sunset over the dunes.

Day 3: Erg Chigaga – Lake Iriqui – Foum Zguid – Marrakech
Pass By: Iriqui National Park, Morocco
On the road, you will cross the National Park of Iriqui, a salted lake to this day almost always dried up, where you will be able to see the authentic “mirages”. Covering an area of 123 thousand hectares, the lake was the favorite place of the Dorcas gazelles that populated the region. The lake region is now the subject of a reintroduction campaign for native species such as Dorcas gazelle, Oryx, Addax, Striated hyena and many migratory birds such as flamingos and perhaps vines. You will have the chance to see some examples of free-range gazelles.
