Itinerary
Day 1: Departure from Marrakech to Ouarzazate
Stop At: Ouarzazate, Ouarzazate, Draa-Tafilalet
We leave Marrakech early in the direction of the high Atlas and later pass the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, at an altitude of 2,260 meters. We visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and have lunch on site. Then it goes on to Ouarzazate in the center of the large Moroccan film industry. After Hollywood there are the world’s largest film studios. We visit a studio to get an impression of it … We spend the night in a hotel.

Day 2: Ouarzazate> Dades Schlught – Tinghir – Todra Gorges
Stop At: Dades Gorges, R704 Atlas Mountains, Boumalne Dades 45350 Morocco
After breakfast we drive to Skoura on the “Route des Mille Kasbahs”. We visit the magnificent Kasbah of Amridil. We continue through the “Valley of the Roses”…. we cross several Berber villages .. and see the imposing gorges of the Dades. We take our lunch near a beautiful palmerie and then explore it on a digestive walk … Later the way leads us back to Tinghir, where we spend the night in a guest house.

Day 3: Tinghir> Erfoud> Merzouga
Stop At: Merzouga Desert, Merzouga Morocco
After breakfast it goes over the so-called. “Ksour Road” through Tinjdad, Erfoud and Rissani, to the dunes in the desert of Merzouga. We then take camels to get to Camp Erg Chebbi. Here we enjoy the indescribable sunset and spend the night in the tent.

Day 4: Merzouga> Zagora
Stop At: Zagora, Zagora, Souss-Massa
Departure in the morning to Zagora. We cross through the desert plateaus of volcanic pebbles with petrified rocks. The route also runs through Tazarine, the capital of Henna. We spend the night in Zagora in a riad or hotel.

Day 5: Zagora> Ouarzazate> Marrakech
Stop At: Draa Valley, Zagora 45600 Morocco
After breakfast we head towards Marrakech through the Draa Valley, along the road of a thousand kasbahs, past the great canyon … We have lunch in Ouarzazate and then continue the trip to the city of “1001 Nights”, Marrakech.
The total distance is about 1230 km.
