It was an important part of the ancient trade route over the High Atlas between Marrakech, Ouarzazate, and the Sahara. Near the top of the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass at 2260m there are great panoramic views over the mountains as well as the snaking N9 road.
This location dubbed a World Heritage Sight by UNESCO, in the province of Ouarzazate, has been used as a back drop for several films and is a worthwhile stop for photo enthusiasts. Farther along is the Kasbah of Tawrirt. It absolutely gives a background on past movies produced in the area.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Tizi n Tichka, Imlil Village, Ouarzazate 45000 Morocco
Please be in the lobby at 7:00am. Your driver should be there ready for you. There you are to take the tour with us. Passing through the length of the Atlas Mountains on the winding and bumpy Tishka Pass, stops are to be made so you can take photos at scenic locations. Afterwards, you are to be taken to the postcard-perfect village of Ait Benhaddou. You should be there around 12:00pm.

Stop At: Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou, Douar Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou 45000 Morocco
Upon arrival, you are to be introduced to your local tour guide. Have lunch in a restaurant of your choice. (please note that both of your tour guide and lunch are not included on today’s tour). Tell your tour guide where you decide to eat, as after your meal, he is to pick you up and then provide you with a guided tour of the village.

Once done with the sites in Ait Benhaddou. You are to be taken via a 45-minute drive to the town of Ouarzazate. Upon arrival. You will have the time to explore the town, specifecally Kasbah Tawrirt. And also going by the Fim Studio. It serves as one of the largest movie studios in the world in terms of land area and it gives you a background on past movies produced in the area. You should be back at your hotel in Marrakech around 7pm.
