What makes Halfday Marrakech city tour a unique experience ?

Founded in 1071 by Youssef ben Tachfine, at the head of the Berber Empire of Almoravides. In the past, Morocco was known in the East under the name of Marrakech (name still relevant in Iran)

The mosque is decorated with curved windows, a strip of ceramic, pointed merlons and decorative arches; it has a large square with gardens, and is lit at night. The minaret, 77 meters (253 feet) high, includes an arrow and orbs. It was completed under the reign of the Berber Almohad caliph Yaqub al-Mansour (1184-1199), and inspired other buildings such as the Giralda of Seville and the Hassan Tower of Rabat.

The origins of the complex date back to the Saadian Dynasty, more than four hundred years ago.
Rebuilt in the mid-Nineteenth century at the behest of an influential kaid of the Atlas Mountains, Le Jardin Secret has been the home of some of Morocco and Marrakech’s most important political figures.
Le Jardin Secret is part of the great tradition of stately Arab-Andalusian and Moroccan palaces.

located next to the Museum of Marrakech and about 40 meters south of the Ben Youssef Mosque. It is the only surviving example of Almoravide architecture in Marrakech. The building was built in 1117 and was later renovated in the 16th and 19th centuries. It was rediscovered in 1948 and excavated in 1952, after being buried under one of the outbuildings of the Ben Youssef mosque.

The Medersa was for more than four centuries a home for students in search of knowledge in various sciences, including theology. It had 132 rooms for non-Marrakesh students and could accommodate up to 900 students.
