Marrakech Trip Overview

After we meet, we’ll start our tour by picking up the olives and Harissa from a local market and stopping by one of the best pastry makers in the whole country.
then we’ll go to the food market where all the artisans and locals eat delicious and authentic local food.
We’ll visit all the different food stalls: fried chicken that was marinated for a few hours ahead in Moroccan curry, fried sardines as well as the grilled sardine meat balls and barbecued liver skewers as well as the lamb’s spleen filled with onion, minced meat, different local spices and garlic.
then we’ll sit in a terrace where the food will be served.
The terrace belongs to the berber pharmacie that supplies the different stalls with the different spices.
After eating the different recipes we’ll eat the pastries accompanied by a cup of mint tea.
Then for those who are interested, we’ll visit different cooperatives where we can find different things necessary for a kitchen “spices and wood, pottery, metal kitchen tools”

In Semmarine souk guests will :
– visite the olive local market area

In this famous spices Square guests will learn all about moroccan spices and take awsome pictures in this historical site, than they will visite the local market of the quarter Sidi Ishaq to learn about the real Moroccan lifestyle.

Stop At: Medersa Ben Youssef, Ben Youssef Square, Marrakech 40000 Morocco

Near to the famous mederssa ben youssef guests will discovre the street food local market where all Artisant and locals eat delicious and authentic food. We will visit all the different food stalls, starting by the fried chicken that was marinated for a few hours ahead, we will see the fried sardines as well as the grilled sardine meat balls and last but not least we will see the barbecued liver skewers as well as the pancreas filled with onion, minced meat, different local spices and garlic.
After seeing the different stalls and how the food is made, we will sit in a terrace with an incomparable view over the Almoravides’ cupola where the food will be served.

Then will visit a wood cooperative where you can find the different tools used by Moroccans in a kitchen “spoons, cutting boards, salad bowls, skewers, trays, honey spoons and spice boxes…etc”
Well also visit a pottery cooperative where you can find the berber Tagines, a Brazier, Bowls, Mugs, Plates…tec
An last but not least we will go to a cooperative where you can find tea sets “teapot, cups and trays” metal spoons, knives…etc
