Visit: Jardin Majorelle, Rue Yves Saint Laurent, Marrakech 40090 Morocco
We will pick you up from your hotel / Riad in Marrakech and take you to discover the Majorelle garden. The Majorelle is a haven of peace in a city of chaos. A 2.5-acre paradise of exotic plants and fountains set in the heart of Marrakech. Designed by expatriate French artist Jacques Majorelle, the gardens were inspired by the Art Nouveau movement and reflect Majorelle’s love of flora and fauna. Marjorelle’s studio is now a vibrant museum, which has become known for its deep blue color aptly called “Majorelle Blue.” After being somewhat neglected following the painter’s death, the gardens have since been restored to its former glory by Yves Saint-Laurent, whose ashes were scattered in the rose garden.
