Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate

Tizin Tichka is a pass (7,415ft) on the way to Ouarzazate. It is the highest icular pass in the Atlas and in North Africa

Stop At: Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou, Douar Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou 45000 Morocco
You will have 45mn free time to climb up the small hill going through the Unesco Heritage village and see the Kasbah from all different angles.

The guide will meet you at the entrance and will show you all the different movie sets in Atlas Studios where movies were shot . Lunch included.

Located 8 kilometers west of Ouarzazate, this kasbah or fortress stands on a rocky outcrop which dominates the valley of the Ouarzazate wadi. It belonged to the family of Thami El Glaoui, Pasha of Marrakech. Short stop to take photos.

Ouarzazate is a city south of the Moroccan High Atlas Mountains, known as the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Its Kasbahs and the rocky landscape of the surroundings appear in several films. A road winds south-east, through the lush palm groves of the Drâa Valley, towards the desert.

Day 2: Ouarzazate – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Dunes
Stop At: Skoura, Skoura, Beni Mellal-Khenifra
Skoura is an important palm grove of 25 km², located 40 km from Ouarzazate in the South of Morocco. It is one of the few palm groves in the country still inhabited and cultivated. There are about one hundred and fourty thousand palm trees.

Todra gorges are located in the Moroccan High Atlas. They are very popular with climbers for their walls that can reach 300 meters.

Erg Chebbi, better known as the dunes of Merzouga, is one of the two major ergs of the Sahara in Morocco. The spectacular golden dunes of Erg Chebbi are among the most remarkable in the Sahara. Some culminate at 150 meters in height.
