Marrakech Trip Overview
The watercolor courses are open to beginners and people already initiated. They take place over 8 days. Groups are limited: 13 people (maximum). They take place either in workshops in guesthouses or in the surrounding natural environment, the desert dunes, and consist of a theoretical approach and a practical approach to watercolor. The courses are practiced in a friendly atmosphere, and take place in the morning and in the afternoon, at the rate of 6 hours of lessons per day except the desert day 1h.

Day 1: Watercolor Morocco course and Travel Book (8 days / 7 nights) A Travel Book in Wonderland between mountains
Stop At: Marrakech, Marrakech, Marrakech-Safi
Arrival in Marrakech, reception of trainees by our two guides Yacin and Abdou. Support for the group to go to Aït Ben Haddou by minibus (17 seats). Night in Aït Ben Haddou.

Day 2: The Ksar
Stop At: Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou, Souss-Massa
“Le Ksar”: first sketches of Aït Ben Haddou from the panoramic terrace of our gîte. In the afternoon, visit the historic city and sketch in the shaded alleys and along the wadi. Night in Aït Ben Haddou.

Day 3: The Almond trees
Stop At: Skoura M’Daz, Skoura M’Daz, Souss-Massa
local botanical discovery, sketch in the almond valley. Departure by bus at the end of the afternoon to Skoura, located in the heart of one of the largest palm grove in Morocco. Installation in the Bassatine gîte. Night in Bassatine.

Day 4: The souk
Stop At: Kalaat M’Gouna, Morocco
itinerant merchants, artisans, blacksmiths, dyers, goods of all kinds, banal or unusual. Painting session, immersed in the middle of the Moroccan market. Afternoon, on the way for a painting session in the Gorges du Dadès. Night in Bassatine.

Day 5: The Palm grove
Stop At: Skoura M’Daz, Skoura M’Daz, Souss-Massa
sketch in the heart of the Palmeraie, its flora and its kasbahs, botanical and cultural discovery by our specialist and Moroccan guide Habdou. Night in Bassatine.

Day 6: Countryside
Stop At: Skoura M’Daz, Skoura M’Daz, Souss-Massa
morning sketch at the edge of the wadi at the foot of the village of Timicha. Then picnic Moroccan on site. Afternoon sketch in the heart of the simple and authentic village. Night in Bassatine.

morning at the gîte to finalize the notebook, various collages, layout with my advice. Lunch break. In the afternoon, free time, the opportunity to shop for souvenirs, or simply let the song of the birds guide your steps in the palm grove. Last night in Bassatine.
