This three day desert is one of the highlight tours you can experience in Morocco. Starting from your accommodation in Marrakech it crosses the High Atlas Mountains, let’s you see the road of thousand Kasbahs, and experience the golden sand dunes of the Erg Chebbi. The tour ends back in Marrakech.
Day 1
After pick up, the driver will take you to the first destination for the first day covering the high atlas Mountains, and the Majestic Tizi Ntishka High pass, over to the Largest Kasbah in the world which was selected by the Unesco as a World Heritage Site in 1978. It has beenand used for several American and international movies as it used to be a a Caravan Sarai meeting point, where gold, ivory, salt and slaves from the Sub-Saharan countries were traded. After the visit to the Kasbah and lunch you will continue the journey Via Skoura to the Rose Valley and stop to see the Rose Cooperative place and learn about this natural treasure in Morocco (they celebrate the Festival des Roses/ Rose Festival in the first week every May) from Kalaat Mgouna to the Apes Rock Formations and sand castles through the Dades Valley. Day 2
After breakfast the journey will head south to the Erg Chebbi Sand dunes, passing by the most impressive Gorges of Todra, which has high cliffs attracting international rock climbers. Your journey will then continue via the Arid Desert to the town of Merzouga where you will be provided dinner and accommodation in a traditional Berber desert camp. D,B&B
Day 3
The third day will be just driving back to Marrakech where the tour ends.
