This is a unique opportunity to visit the home of a local and explore traditional culture and cuisine. Khmisa and Kawtar, a mother-daughter duo, live in a traditional Moroccan riad in the heart of the Medina quarter (old city). It is a 10 minute walk from the central square, Jemaa el-Fnaa. Khmisa will and will welcome you with traditional mint tea, while Kawtar will share about Moroccan cuisine and culture. Join Khmisa and Kawtar in the kitchen to prepare their favorite family recipes in a hands-on cooking class. You’ll cook together for about 1.5 hours, and will learn to make three authentic Moroccan dishes, a starter, a main dish and a dessert, before sitting down at the dining table to enjoy the dishes you helped prepare.
