Itinerary
Day 1: Zagora – Lahnanich desert in M’hamid
Stop At: Tamegroute, Valle du Daraa, Zagora Morocco
Visit the pottery workshops or the Koranic library.
Duration: 40 minutes
Meals included:
• Dinner: Tea and dinner around the campfire.
Accommodation included: Night in the dunes of Lahnanich in traditional nomad bivouac.
Day 2: Lahnanich – Sidi Naji
Stop At: M’Hamid, M’Hamid, Souss-Massa
Tomb of Sidi Naji, place of pilgrimage of our people.
Duration: 12 hours
Meals included:
• Breakfast
• Lunch
• Dinner
Accommodation included: Bivouac at the foot of the dunes in traditional nomad bivouac.
Day 3: Sidi Naji – Erg Zahar
Stop At: M’Hamid, M’Hamid, Souss-Massa
The caravan is heading towards the big dunes of erg Zahar.
Duration: 12 hours
Meals included:
• Breakfast
• Lunch
• Dinner
Accommodation included: Bivouac at the foot of the dunes.
Day 4: Erg Zahar – Ait Ounir
Pass By: M’Hamid, M’Hamid, Souss-Massa
Continue the hike through the Sahara Desert.
Meals included:
• Breakfast
• Lunch
• Dinner
Accommodation included: Night at the foot of the dunes in traditional nomad bivouac.
Day 5: Ait Ounir – Bertam
Pass By: M’Hamid, M’Hamid, Souss-Massa
The camel continues through the desert.
Meals included:
• Breakfast
• Lunch
• Dinner
Accommodation included: Night at the foot of the big dunes of Bertam in traditional nomadic bivouac.
Day 6: Bertam – Zagora
Stop At: Oulad Driss, Oulad Driss, Souss-Massa
End of the camel trek and return to Zagora via Oulad Driss.
Possible visit of the casbah.
Duration: 40 minutes
