However, through collaborative efforts with international environmental agencies from 1992 to 2004, successful reintroduction programs were implemented at Khustain National Park, ensuring the revival of the Takhi population. The impressive Gods Bridge is a natural arch spanning 30 meters high over the gorge. We'll pick you up from your hotel at 10 am, and set off on our 30-minute drive to the lush landscapes of Akchour. Next to this tiny village is one of the natural gems of the Rif Mountains: The Talassemtane National Park. Arriving there, we'll embark on a hiking route through the Farda canyon. During the trail, which will last approximately 1h, we'll pass by some breathtaking natural spots. From the peaceful sound of its waters to the sight of its sparkling green natural pools, you'll be enchanted by this haven of peace and tranquility of Rif Mountains. Our trek will continue onwards, taking us through the foothills of the mountains and leading us to a spectacular canyon where we'll see God's Bridge. Tilt your heads back and look to the skies to admire this wonder of nature! The hike will conclude returning to the starting point, where we'll hop back into the minibus for the journey back to the city.

Jbel Lakraa is the highest mountain in Talassemtane national park (2159m). On this full day excursion we will take you to discover its amazing landscape and unique biodiversity. We will pick you up from your hotel and A 4WD vehicle will take you through villages, green pastures and the forests of the region. You will reach Plaza de Espana. It is a beautiful spot for you to rest, relax, and enjoy the surrounding landscape full of the most unique Moroccan fir (Abies Marocaca). The Place D’Espagne leads you in a nice trek to the summit of Mount Lakraa, which is 2159 meters above sea level. From this location you will see the Mediterranean coast below, as well as the surrounding areas. It is a great panoramic view. Continuation, by hiking down to Mechkralla village where we will enjoy a delicious Moroccan lunch in a rural house, and where we will find the 4WD waiting for us to take us back to Chefchaouen. But not before taking a Morocca tea with medicinal herbs.
