Continue to the town of Merthyr Tydfil to tour Cyfarthfa Castle, located in a picturesque park (optional activity, entry free not included). Visit Castell Coch, a fairy-tale castle nestled in the woods. Take your time exploring this beautifully preserved building, rich in history, with its stunning decorations, paintings, and period furniture (entry free not included). Please note that the visit to the waterfalls will involve a 1-hour walk. The path may be steep and muddy, so we recommend wearing boots and rainproof clothing. If you find it difficult to keep up with the group, our driver may kindly ask you to wait at the safest point.

Our Wye Valley Tour has it all, and has been described in one review as “a great adventure that spans centuries of Welsh history, in the middle of a beautiful countryside.“ . Ancient Castles, Gothic Abbey, Historic Towns, Roman Ruins and stunning countryside, during this 8 and a half hour tour. . On the tour, you will have the freedom to spend as little or as much time as you wish at any of the locations. We will provide you with an itinerary before the tour. The timings on this itinerary are purely there to be used as a guide for the day. From 1st November to 1st March there will only be time to stop at three of the four locations, due to shorter opening times at Chepstow Castle and Caerleon during these months. You can deciede which three to stop at in advance, or discuss the options with your driver guide on the day Please Note: Chepstow Castle, Raglan Castle Tintern Abbey & Caerleon Roman Baths all have a cost for entry.
