After Travnik we're heading to one of the most beautiful cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Jajce. Beautiful waterfall combined with complex history make it stand out among others. "Dear friend, I'm writing to you from the town where in the very centre of it the most beautiful waterfall in the whole empire is located" – (it was written on a postcard sent from Jajce to Prag by Czech tourists, in the late 19th century, when Bosnia was part of Austro-Hungarian empire). Last but not least, you will visit watermills that are beautiful and straight out of fairy tale.

My name is Miran, and over the last 20 years of my life I have guided fellow travelers like you on my famous Enjoy Herzegovina tour. I was born and raised in Mostar, which I consider one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and have since built a hostel and tour business. I have unique insight into the history of my region, a region that both experienced times of prosperity and the horrors of war, a history I feel moved to share with people from across the world. You will be picked up from my hostel, Hostel Miran, which is just 5 minutes away from the Bus Station, and will be transported in a comfortable and air conditioned minivan. You will see Blagaj Dervish Monastery, Pocitelj Castle and the surrounding area, and of course, the beautiful Kravice Waterfalls. Afterwards, we'll drive up Mountain Fortica with the best views of Mostar and the newly built Sky walking bridge. Entrance into waterfalls included in price. Please bring your passport, swimwear and towel.

On your way to the Belegrade from Sarajevo, or vice versa, it is great idea to see some of the must see attractions of Eastern Bosnia / Western Serbia- Visegrad, Andricgrad and Drvengrad. First of them is Visegrad, that has long and rich history. The thing that makes it special is the famous UNESCO protected Old Stone Bridge, the endowment of Grand Vizier Mehmed Pasha Sokolovic. Next stop is Andricgrad-known as Kamengrad or Stone city. It is a project of famous film director Emir Kusturica, inspired by Nobel prize winner, Ivo Andric. Also, you will visit Ethno Village Drvengrad-means Wooden city, which beauty will left you withouth a breath. Another thing you will definitely enjoy is Mokra Gora, the most unique Sargan Eight ride – an old-fashioned narrow-gauge railway. First stop on tour will be a short walk on the edge of Perućica forest. Perućica is one of the last primeval forests in Europe, at the tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage. We will walk to a viewpoint overlooking the forest and admire the views on Skakavac waterfall as well as the rocky peaks of Maglić, Volujak and Zelengora high above. The hike itself follows the Postmans' route. This is the easiest trail that takes 34h to reach the peak, but it is not for those afraid of the heights. You need to be strong on your feet, and able to walk on hard terrain for prolonged period of time. The first part is very easy, slowly ascending through the forest on the trail that was used by partisans during the WWII to avoid the Nazi troops. Once we leave the forest, the mighty northern face of Maglić appears. We will enjoy the view while we walk on easy trail to the foot of the mountain. Stunning views on mountains in central Bosnia and Montenegro will make all our effort worthwhile.
